PRACTICE NEWS: Resumption of routine appointments

We have been back open since early June for all emergency and essential treatments and have now attended to most of those patients. If you have any dental issues that require urgent attention please contact us by phone or email to arrange an appointment. We are so thankful that as a private practice, we are able to treat  patients albeit with much enhanced protocols for the safety of patients and staff members including all ‘aerosol generating procedures’. 

We have extensive measures in place to safeguard both our patients and staff and are adjusting to a new way of treating patients. We have recently invested in DentAir, air purifiers, which sterilise the air every four minutes, meaning moving forward, every treatment room will have a continuous flow of clean air. We have now resumed routine appointments for examinations and dental hygiene. As you can imagine, we have many patients to see and Jackie is currently working her way through her extensive list to book everyone in within the next few weeks.

Virtual online consultations using SmileMate are available for your convenience and ideal if you would prefer not to visit the practice at this time. We can use this to assess any issues you are having, and also to assess suitability for any cosmetic dental treatments you may be considering such as Invisalign or cosmetic bonding. We have also launched the ‘Patient Portal’ to cut down on paperwork, both to make our administration more efficient but also to improve cross infection control. You will receive an email or text prior to your appointment with links to the Covid19 screening and  medical questionnaire. We would be grateful ,if possible, if you could spend a couple of minutes completing these prior to your appointment. The beauty  of this is the updated information is saved directly into your confidential notes on our dental software.
