Our experienced implantologist, Chris Chisholm and his wife Ashley, welcomed a daughter earlier in the spring. Margot bounced into the world earlier this year and has settled in well into the Chisholm household. Chris enjoyed some paternity leave and is now back seeing patients in his Wednesday implant clinic. Immediate implants and full arch restorations are keeping him especially busy at the moment.
Professionally, congratulations firstly go to our popular dental nurse, Hannah Delworth, who has completed her radiography qualification, meaning after a lot of studying and gaining experience in the practice, she is now able to take x-rays herself. Well done Hannah.
While our trainee nurse, Molly Lansdell, has nearly completed her qualification and has now been accepted into The University of Edinburgh to study Oral Health Science. With only 10 places available for this intake, we are super proud that she got a place with over 200 people applying. Once she graduates, she will be a qualified dental hygienist and therapist. It will be fantastic to bolster this team as hygienist appointments are in huge demand as many of our patients are aware. Thank you for your patience as waiting times for appointments are longer than usual, but wonderful that so many recognise the importance of maintaining good dental hygiene.
