Dental Veneers

Veneers are thin porcelain shells, fitted to the outer surface of the teeth to improve their colour and hide any defects that might exist.

Veneers are ideal for mottling, cracks, chipped teeth, severe discolouration and small gaps. Veneers can also be used to treat slightly crooked teeth if results are required quickly, but we would always recommend orthodontics to straighten crooked teeth.

Here at Smile Plus Dental Care we can offer you 2 types of veneers:

1. Hand crafted porcelain veneers made bespoke by our ceramic technician, with detail applied to each and every tooth to match your desired smile. The process is usually carried out over at least 2 visits and takes approximately 3-4 weeks from start to finish.
2. Immediate Direct Veneers from Edelweiss are state-of-the-art, minimally invasive veneers. These veneers are prefabricated (made from patented nano-hybrid composite) using modern laser technology and so can be customised on the day to fit your smile and fitted in a single visit. They are ultra-thin and more cost effective than traditional porcelain veneers.
